DXing
K3WA Loves DXing
OK.  I like DXing.  I may not be very good at it, but I like it.  This is my "brag" page.  So, sue me.

I have been chasing DX and the DXCC Honor Roll for a very long time.  Working the January 2014 DX-Pedition to Amsterdam Island  got me on the DXCC Honor Roll.

My DXCC Challenge has finally reached 2800.  Think the next 200 will be really tough!  At my current rate I will be 102 years old by the time I get there.

I achieved 5 band DXCC plus 160, 30, 17, and 12 meter DXCC.  For the record, I got 8 of the 9 bands DXCC worked using just wire and vertical antennas and low to medium power while living in city lots.   It can be done!

Next: 6 Meters!   I have 89 countries on 6 Meters so far.  Quite a ways to go.

Now comes the hard part - finding the patience to wait out the needed DX-peditions for the entities I still need to make the top of the honor roll.  I am up to 341 so far.  Working them is fun - waiting for them is not!
